Inter Zone Boys Softball Championship Tournament

L.I I am learning to write a report.

On Tuesday 13 March 2012 Tamaki Intermediate School boys represented the Eastern Zone at the  softball tournament at Rosedale park, Albany. We had three games to play and we had no warm ups and no time to throw balls around to our team mates because when we reached the softball grounds our game had started.

Our first game was against Sommerville Intermediate School. We batted first. Their catcher would just put his glove up in the air, the pitcher would under arm the ball into the catcher's glove so fast and accurate that it was a strike. They got us out like nobody was batting and we couldn’t keep count of the points and we lost.

Our second game was against St  Peter’s college and we lost here too because the pitcher was like an international softball pitcher. It was hard to swing against the ball  because it was too fast.

Our final and the last game was against Glen Eden Intermediate and it was a hard and tough game.  We were playing  well and we caught up with the points 3 all but then at the end they had two more points so they won by 2. The points were 3-5.

I had a wonderful day and it was nice playing against other schools, I was proud of our team because we played as a team and we played with sportsmanship spirit.
